About this Conference
A workshop exploring the intersection of natural language processing and ecological research, focusing on analyzing environmental communication, linguistic patterns, and NLP applications in ecological contexts. The workshop aims to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and innovative research addressing environmental challenges through computational linguistics.
Call for Papers
Submissions are invited in two categories:
- Regular Papers (4-8 pages): Original, unpublished work following LREC 2026 Author Kit. Accepted papers will be included in workshop proceedings.
- Non-archival contributions (up to 4 pages): Research communications, work in progress, manifestos, which can be presented but not included in proceedings.
Topics include sentiment analysis of environmental topics, linguistic discourse analysis, bias detection, text classification, environmental monitoring, fact-checking, greenwashing detection, and NLP applications in ecological research.
